Technasium during the pandemic

The pandemic has affected millions of people around the world, and so has it affecting students. During this pandemic, we weren't allowed to go to school. Because of this, we had to continue our projects at home.

At the moment of the lockdown, my classmates and i had to decide which project we were going to continue with. Our choices were: TTA(Technasium Top Award) or a project of your own.

My group and I chose the TTA project because it was more reliable, and we had a better chance of receiving a higher grade.

For more information about TTA, go to >Freshman(age 14)>TTA.

My experience of the pandemic:

At the start of the pandemic, I was happy. I thought to myself, finally two weeks without school, not realizing that I would be stuck in this boxlike world for over a year.

But during this year I learned a lot about myself, my peers, and my family. For instance, I discoverd a passion for sports, in particular American Football. I may not have lost family during this pandemic but I have lost a ton of friends. Not because of death, but because of a lack of social connection. Which resulted in a smaller circle of companions.

This past year may not have been ideal for everyone, but for me. It was quite special, for the reason that I adopted a dog. His name is Bako and I am grateful for him.
